How to register for this site as of August 12, 2018

Hello Alliance Millsoft customers! Our support forum has been getting overwhelmed with bot attacks to register for our forum nearly weekly for a few months. It's not unusual for us to get 700 or more "new registrations" in a matter of hours. This site is setup to require an administrative approval o...

Resetting Alliance toolbars to default setup

The toolbars that The Assistant uses are editable so you can add buttons for printing or other tasks if you wish. However a little tinkering can also result in problems when tinkering goes too far. Estimate files switch if I click "summary" or other button

Sometimes have you noticed that you are no longer working in the estimate you thought you were? This can happen sometimes depending on your computer and OS. This is a bit weird and it's kind of a hard problem to spot. You have to have multiple estimates open and then click a button on the AMS estima...

Re: "edit an existing estimate" button closes Alliance

In the post above I laid out adjustments that you can make to your system to continue using Microsoft OneDrive with The Assistant. However, Microsoft often installs OneDrive automatically during Microsoft Office installations. Hence there may be users that have OneDrive installed but are not using t...

Upgraded to Windows 10 and have problems?

First, our system supports Windows 10 just fine. However, we have had a few clients having issues after performing a Windows 10 upgrade (NOT a new clean Windows 10 install). If it seems like you're having issues after upgrading your PC to Windows 10 .. could be pathing issues on a network installati...

Re: Pulldowns

Thanks for the info. So let's try again. From your estimate or master estimate file go to the project summary, then use your cursor (the rectangle, not the mouse pointer) and using your arrow key move it to the right until you cannot move it anymore. You should see a button there to reset locations ...

Re: Pulldowns

What company are you with? I believe that it's been in the system since around 2006 but I would like to check on the version you are using.

Re: Pulldowns

Yes there is. Go to the project summary and move your cursor all the way to the right. There is a button there to reset locations. Does that help?

Re: AMS BACKUP contacts issues

Mike

Have you tried to click thru the error and add another contact? That might work to rest the database. Otherwise you would need to send me your AMSLibrary file for review or revert to a backed up version of the AMSLibrary.
